In these workshops, we’ll take a gentle, nature-based approach to our creative complications by working with compost. We’ll explore cycles of growth and decay in nature and connect those to our experiences of creativity.

Wild Plants vs Smooth City (dates coming soon)

What do the cosmic latte aesthetic and predictive policing have in common? Both underpin the trend toward private enclosure of the urban commons, with the goal of turning increasingly large parts of the world's cities into friction-free comfort zones for the privileged.

In this workshop, we will consider what wild plants (aka weeds) have to teach us about benign forms of trespass as well as flourishing under conditions of hostility.

What can we learn from nature when we experience grief and loss in our personal lives? And how can we have a different relationship with nature when we live in a big city?
